Our client is a dynamic and rapidly growing start up with a fully remote team spread across the US. We are seeking a talented and experienced Remote Travel Coordinator with strong event planning skills to join their team. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless travel arrangements and unforgettable off-site events for our remote team members. This is an urgent hire and we want someone to start before the end of 2023.
Responsibilities:
1. Travel Planning:
- Coordinate all aspects of travel for remote team members, including flights, accommodations, ground transportation, and any other necessary arrangements.
- Ensure travel itineraries are well-organized, efficient, and aligned with company policies.
- Plan and execute off-site events for the remote team, including team-building activities, dinners, and other special touches to enhance the overall experience.
- Collaborate with team leads to understand specific event requirements and preferences.
- Take charge of planning the company's yearly meetup in mid-January, coordinating all logistics, accommodations, and activities to create a memorable experience for all attendees.
- Arrange and send thoughtful gifts, flowers, and tokens of appreciation to clients to express gratitude for their partnership.
- Maintain a calendar of important client milestones and proactively send gifts on behalf of the company.
- Proven experience as a Travel Coordinator or in a similar role with a focus on remote teams.
- Strong background in event planning and execution, demonstrating creativity and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with travel booking platforms and tools.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and remotely while maintaining a high level of productivity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
