We are seeking an experienced housekeeper for an Ultra High Net Worth family for their 10,000 square foot residence situated on an 18-acre estate in the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley. The family values professionalism, discretion, and a high standard of cleanliness and organization.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • General Housekeeping:

    • Perform daily cleaning and upkeep of the main residence and guest areas.

    • Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.

    • Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and living spaces.

    • Make beds, change linens, and perform laundry duties, including ironing and wardrobe management.

  • Specialized Cleaning:

    • Care for high-end surfaces, fixtures, and furnishings with appropriate cleaning products and techniques.

    • Polishing silver, brass, and other special materials as needed.

  • Organizational Tasks:

    • Maintain household organization, including closets, pantries, and storage areas.

    • Keep inventory of cleaning supplies and household items, ensuring they are stocked and reordered as necessary.

  • Collaborative Duties:

    • Work closely with the house manager and other staff to ensure the smooth operation of the household.

    • Communicate effectively with the house manager to report any issues or needs within the home.

    • Assist with special projects or events as directed by the house manager or family members.

  • Additional Duties:

    • Provide occasional assistance with meal preparation and service during family gatherings or events.

    • Handle household errands and shopping as required.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a housekeeper in a private residence, preferably for UHNW families.

  • Strong attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness and organization.

  • Knowledge of proper care and maintenance for luxury homes, furnishings, and finishes.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.

  • Discreet and respectful of the family's privacy and confidentiality.

  • Flexibility to adapt to the family's schedule and needs.
