We are seeking a dedicated and highly organized Personal Assistant/Estate Manager to help oversee and manage a couple's private estate, located on a ranch, just south of Kerrville, TX. The ideal candidate will have 5-10+ years of experience, and have a strong ability to multitask, manage staff, and ensure the smooth operation of the home and ranch, including maintenance, household upkeep, and other key responsibilities. This role will support both the daily needs of a busy entrepreneurial couple, along with their dog, and assist with various property management tasks.
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):• Oversee the upkeep and maintenance of the main home, guest house, stables, and surrounding grounds, ensuring the residence is always in pristine condition.
• Ensure the maintenance and cleanliness of the three pools on the property.
• Maintain organization in all areas of the home, including managing inventories, supplies, and systems for housekeeping and other needs.
• Supervise and coordinate a small team of staff members, including managing their schedules and tasks ensuring efficiency and quality of work.
• Oversee and support the ranch manager to ensure daily operations, including farm management and hay production, run smoothly.
• Manage schedules for all staff, delegate tasks, and ensure the property’s upkeep is maintained to the highest standards.
• Handle personal/grocery shopping, errands, and day-to-day tasks for the family, including organizing travel arrangements, appointments, and other personal needs.
• Ensure the Australian Labradoodle’s care and schedule are maintained, including walks, appointments, and general well-being.
• Coordinate and prepare for company visits, social events, and parties, including organizing meals, activities, and general hospitality.
• Manage the family’s various properties and a property under construction.
• Oversee the progress of construction ensuring timelines and budgets are being adhered to.
• Coordinate travel plans and accommodations for the family, ensuring everything is in order for any trips.
• Assist with managing the family’s businesses as needed, coordinating various tasks related to logistics, scheduling, and communications.
Provide any additional support as requested, including organizing special events, handling emergency situations, and addressing unexpected needs or challenges.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience as a Personal Assistant, Estate Manager, or in a similar role managing both home and property.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple properties, staff, and tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in computer-based scheduling, communication tools, and basic office software.
• Ability to supervise and train staff, ensuring all tasks are completed to high standards.
• Basic understanding of property maintenance, including overseeing pool care, yard work, and general household upkeep.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive matters and ensuring the privacy of the family.
• Ability to be proactive, flexible, and manage tasks independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to take initiative and adapt to changing needs or circumstances.
• A love for animals, particularly dogs, as well as some knowledge of animal care.
Compensation: Up to $150,000/yearly + benefits.
Location: South of Kerrville, TX. This role could potentially be hybrid (reporting 2-3 days a week at the property), depending on where in the surrounding area the candidate lives.
