We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Assistant to support the CEO of a fast-growing animation studio in West LA. This is a partnership role with a visionary leader, who values proactive thinking, creative problem-solving, and discretion. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and assertive, providing comprehensive support to enable the CEO to focus on studio growth and creative direction. Key Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of EA experience, preferably in the entertainment industry
  • Proven excellence in managing complex calendars with strategic scheduling to protect high-value time and ensure the CEO is fully prepared for engagements
  • Ability to consistently prepare the CEO for every meeting and decision
  • Exceptional communication skills, handling sensitive and confidential matters with discretion
  • Strong ability to anticipate needs and manage multiple priorities under pressure
  • Tech-savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, emerging AI tools, Adobe Cloud, Google Workspace, AirTable, DocuSign, Notion
  • Ability to think strategically, proactively identifying potential issues before they arise
Core Responsibilities:
  • Strategically manage the CEO’s calendar, travel arrangements, and communication flow
  • Prepare briefing materials, correspondence, and presentations
  • Handle confidential information with discretion
  • Organize and maintain efficient document systems for project management
  • Build and manage delegation systems for overflow or technical tasks
  • Act as a liaison between internal teams and external partners
  • Assist with personal/family scheduling and occasional errands
  • Serve as a trusted thought partner on selected initiatives
  • Represent the CEO in meetings when appropriate
  • Anticipate issues before they become problems
  • Connect dots across different areas of the business to ensure smooth operations
Animation Industry Knowledge (Not required initially but must be prepared to learn quickly):
  • Familiarity with animation production pipeline terminology and workflows
  • Understanding of key industry events, players, and trends
  • Ability to engage effectively with creative teams and talent
Compensation & Work Arrangement:
  • Salary: $90,000-$120,000 based on experience
  • Comprehensive benefits package
  • Onsite 3-5 days per week
  • Occasional travel for industry events
