We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Manager to support the finance team of a talent management agency in Hollywood, Los Angeles. This individual will oversee and manage all accounting-related functions tied to the talent roster and internal operations. This includes invoicing, payment tracking, financial reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and experienced in accounting best practices, especially within industries such as talent management, online advertising, or public relations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and distribute invoices for 90+ talent, ensuring accuracy and timely payments
  • Apply late fees to overdue invoices when appropriate and follow up on outstanding payments
  • Prepare and submit W-9s and ACH forms to clients as needed
  • Integrate the company into new payment platforms
  • Resolve payment discrepancies and accounting issues for both brands and creators
  • Adjust invoices to meet brand-specific requirements
  • Reconcile incoming payments against issued invoices
  • Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions (received and disbursed)
  • Input new talent data into QuickBooks and generate monthly financial reports
  • Record journal entries for direct payments made to talent
  • Coordinate with HR partner on employee onboarding and vacation tracking
  • Renew company insurance policies and update business license annually
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of bank and credit card statements
  • Track employee commissions and bonuses
  • Assist with forecasting and budgeting
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3–5 years of experience in accounting or finance, ideally in a similar industry
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel required
  • Strong grasp of accounting principles, practices, and financial regulations
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Capable of handling confidential information with discretion
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hollywood).

Schedule: Hybrid: Mon & Fri WFH, Tues–Thurs onsite.

Compensation: Up to $80,000 DOE
