Part-Time Expert Laundress/Housekeeper / in Los Angeles, California

A private household in Venice, CA is seeking a part-time expert laundress/housekeeper to manage weekly laundry needs. This role includes washing, steaming or ironing, folding, and hanging garments with care and precision. The ideal candidate has prior experience in high-standard homes, is trustworthy, and can work independently. Flexibility is offered in scheduling, and the candidate may choose to complete the hours in one visit or across multiple days.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in laundry care within private homes or similar settings

• Strong knowledge of fabric care, stain treatment, and garment preservation

• Skilled in ironing, steaming, folding, and organizing clothing

• Highly detail-oriented and self-motivated

• Professional, discreet, and reliable

• Authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass a background check

Responsibilities:

• Wash and properly care for household laundry

• Iron or steam garments as needed

• Fold and hang clothing neatly and appropriately

• Organize closets and maintain tidiness of laundry areas

• Identify and treat stains or items needing special care

Schedule:

• Approximately 5 hours per week

• Flexible: Candidate can complete work on one set day or split across multiple days

Compensation:
$25–$45 per hour, or day rate, depending on experience/preference, no benefits at this time
