We are looking for a highly organized and resourceful Executive Assistant to provide dedicated support to a senior executive at a San Francisco–based venture capital firm. The right candidate will bring strong interpersonal skills, sharp attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This position calls for someone who can balance multiple priorities with ease, remain adaptable in a dynamic environment, and exercise discretion in managing confidential information. Previous experience partnering with executive leadership in fast-paced settings is essential.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of high-level experience supporting CEOs, Founders, or General Partners, or similar types of senior-level executives.
  • Must have experience within one or more of the following industries: venture capital/financial services, media/content, or similar. 
  • Approaches work with energy, professionalism, and strong interpersonal skills; known for a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Thrives under pressure, able to juggle competing priorities while consistently meeting deadlines with high-quality results.
  • Maintains sharp accuracy and a meticulous eye for detail in all tasks.
  • Skilled at organizing complex schedules and prioritizing effectively to maximize efficiency.
  • Highly proficient in Gmail, Google Calendar, and adept in widely used tools including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Zoom.
  • Must be able to pass an in-depth background check and have impeccable references.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate complex calendars, balancing both business and personal commitments.
  • Arrange and oversee travel logistics, including domestic and international itineraries.
  • Coordinate and confirm meetings, ensuring schedules run smoothly.
  • Act as a point of contact by monitoring communications and addressing time-sensitive matters on behalf of the executive.
  • Prepare, reconcile, and submit expense reports promptly.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and foresight, anticipating shifting priorities and competing demands.
  • Gather information and prepare materials to support executive presentations.
  • Monitor progress on important initiatives and ensure follow-through on deadlines.
  • Provide personal support and assistance as required.

Schedule: M-F standard business hours (with flexibility and 24/7 mentality as needed)

Location: This position is hybrid, candidates must be based in San Francisco to apply and be able to work out of the San Francisco office as needed.
