Weekend Nanny for Private Family / in Los Angeles, California

A warm and easygoing family is seeking an engaging, energetic Weekend Nanny to support their school-aged child. This role is centered around creating a fun, active, and positive environment, with a strong emphasis on planning activities, encouraging creativity, and fostering a sense of curiosity and independence. The ideal candidate is someone who brings great energy, enjoys being active, and can create a fun and enriching weekend experience while serving as a positive role model.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead age-appropriate activities, outings, and creative play
• Engage actively with the child through games, sports, crafts, and outdoor time
• Provide a safe, structured, and nurturing environment
• Support social and emotional development through positive interaction
• Prepare simple meals and snacks as needed
• Maintain tidiness of play areas and assist with light child-related cleanup
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding the child’s activities and needs

Requirements: 

• Prior experience working with school-aged children
• Energetic, hands-on, and genuinely enjoys engaging with kids
• Creative, proactive, and able to plan activities independently
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Strong communication skills

Schedule: Saturday & Sunday, 11:00AM - 7:00PM (flexible)

Compensation: Up to $55/hour+ based on experience

Location: Beverly Hills, CA
