Warm & Energetic Nanny to a Busy Growing Family / in Miami, Florida

JOB REFERENCE NUMBER: 2498

POSTED ON May 6, 2026Nanny BY POCKETBOOK AGENCY

A kind and warm family based in Coral Gables is growing and looking for an energetic, loving nanny to join their dynamic household. Their toddler needs an engaged, nurturing caregiver who leads with curiosity and makes learning fun. A second baby is on the way, so you will be stepping into a household with real energy and real purpose. These parents are busy, trusting, and communicative. They treat their household team with respect and give their nanny genuine autonomy because they need someone who takes initiative and brings intention to every day.

Spanish fluency is a strong plus as the family is committed to raising their children bilingual, and you will play a direct role in that. The role includes travel to California for up to two weeks at a time, so flexibility is essential. Any coursework or certification in early childhood development will set your application apart.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • You will be the constant, caring presence in these children's lives. Day to day, that looks like:

  • Providing attentive, loving care for a toddler (and eventually an infant) throughout the day

  • Collaborating closely with parents to maintain a seamless, communicative working relationship

  • Supporting daily routines including activities, naps, and transitions

  • Preparing light meals for the child and supporting healthy eating habits per family guidance

  • Transporting the child safely to and from activities

  • Keeping play areas, the bedroom, and wardrobe organized, and managing child-related laundry

  • Engaging the toddler in age-appropriate, enriching activities indoors and outdoors

  • Traveling domestically with the family to support childcare needs on the road

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • The right person for this role does not just check boxes. They show up with warmth, consistency, and genuine love for the work.

  • 5+ years of professional nanny or childcare experience preferred

  • Comfortable caring for a toddler and infant, together and independently as the family grows

  • Familiarity with developmental milestones and early childhood best practices

  • Spanish fluency is a strong plus. The family wants their children to grow up bilingual and you will be a key part of making that happen

  • Confident, safe driver with your own vehicle

  • Energetic, playful, and genuinely engaged with children

  • Collaborative, low-ego, and willing to pitch in where needed

  • Dependable, honest, and an open communicator

  • Flexible to travel domestically for up to two weeks at a time
