Senior Luxury Travel Manager / in Los Angeles, California

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Luxury Travel Manager to join a fast-paced, globally focused lifestyle management team dedicated to serving UHNW individuals and families. This role is ideal for someone with extensive luxury travel expertise, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for delivering extraordinary, highly personalized travel experiences. This role will oversee a portfolio of discerning clients, managing every aspect of their travel needs, from initial concept and itinerary design to flawless execution and in-trip support. The ideal candidate is resourceful, calm under pressure, commercially minded, and thrives in a high-touch service environment where discretion, creativity, and responsiveness are essential. This position requires someone who can build trusted relationships with clients, maintain an exceptional network of luxury travel partners, and consistently deliver bespoke experiences that exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of UHNW clients, serving as their primary travel advisor and handling all travel-related requests with discretion and exceptional service.

• Design, coordinate, and execute bespoke domestic and international travel itineraries, including flights, private aviation, accommodations, ground transportation, yacht charters, dining, and exclusive experiences.

• Create polished, client-facing travel proposals and itineraries, researching destinations and collaborating with luxury suppliers to curate personalized experiences.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with luxury travel partners, negotiate VIP amenities and preferred rates, and stay current on global travel trends.

• Oversee all aspects of trip planning and execution, providing real-time support during travel while managing multiple complex itineraries simultaneously.

• Manage trip budgets, supplier payments, invoicing, profitability, and administrative documentation while maintaining accurate client records.

• Serve as an internal luxury travel expert, contributing industry knowledge, best practices, and innovative ideas to the team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in luxury, HNW, or UHNW travel planning.

• Experience independently managing a portfolio of UHNW clients.

• Established network of luxury travel suppliers and industry partners.

• Extensive knowledge of luxury hotels, villas, private aviation, yachting, and global travel experiences.

• Proven experience creating complex international itineraries.

• Strong Microsoft Office and technology skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.

• Background supporting a private family office, luxury concierge, or lifestyle management organization.

Location: Remote, with in person commitments in Los Angeles as needed. As well as domestic and international travel.

Salary: $80-110k base DOE + commission and benefits
