Full-time Executive Housekeeper / in Laguna Beach, California

A private family in Laguna Beach is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Housekeeper. The ideal candidate is polished, resourceful, and self-motivated, comfortable maintaining a large home independently with light supervision from the family's maintenance team. This is a long-term opportunity for a professional who wants to grow with the family and take on more responsibility over time.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the 5,000 square foot beach home daily, including cleaning and laundry
• Keep the home neat, tidy, and well maintained at all times
• Send sheets and linens out for pressing
• Provide full support when the family is in residence, up to 10 guests including children, grandchildren, and dogs
• Handle heavy cleaning, laundry, and kitchen prep for the chef during family stays
• Assist with grocery shopping and sourcing flowers
• Source temporary staff when extra help is needed
• Help with service tasks, such as moving a car
• Help care for the family's dogs when they are in town
• Run errands using your own car, gas reimbursed
• Coordinate with the house manager and maintenance team to keep the home running smoothly

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-end private home, beach home experience a plus
• Resourceful and able to self-manage with minimal daily supervision
• Comfortable with pets, dog experience required
• Professional demeanor with excellent discretion and confidentiality
• Reliable and able to work independently
• Reliable vehicle for errands
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Location: Laguna Beach, CA

Compensation: $45-60/hr. Monthly stipend included.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday. Flexible hours outside of family stays. Full availability is required when the family is in residence, mainly June and July. No travel required.
